Started new position at UC3M, as a Juan de la Cierva resercher

general information

I am a Juan de la Cierva Researcher at the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M), part of the Gregorio Millan institute. Prior to my current position I was a post-doc researcher at MIT's mathematics department, and before that I recieved my PhD from the mathematics department at UC Berkeley. I graduated from HUJI with a B.Sc. in physics and mathematics.

I have published papers about geometrical optimization, nucleation and aggregation (my PhD thesis topic), asymptotics in a combinatorics problem, and a particle-based method for conservation law. My current projects include further generalizing that numerical method, finding a moments-based solution to a charge-transport problem in a superlattice, and aggregation in various quench situations.

I'm currently teaching Linear Algebra for Aerospace engineers. This is one of several degrees in UC3M that are given in English, so I don't get to practice my newly learnt Spanish.
